Philadelphia Recorder Society (PRS) playing sessions are dedicated to our members and are open to the public.  See our Membership Info on how to join.  Everyone, including beginner to advanced recorder players, interested in fun, early music, and ensemble work is welcome.   Rainer Beckmann returns as our esteemed musical director at the playing sessions.   Rainer is a local professional recorder player and teacher who shares the stage locally at varying times with Piffaro, La Bernardinia, and Tempesta di Mare amongst others.

Please bring your recorder(s) and a music stand to the playing sessions.   Music will be provided;   Note: Bass Recorder players who bring their bass and play their bass are held in high esteem at our sessions!

Membership Info:

Membership is open to everyone;   Annual (Sept-June) dues are $45; 
Fee for drop-in players: First trial visit free, then $10 per session.
